As a group member you will spend time in personal Bible study during the week with questions that prompt deeper thought.
Once a week you will meet in-person or online for small-group discussion around what you’ve studied, hear from a Teaching Leader who applies the truths of Scripture to daily life, and receive comprehensive lesson notes on the passage you've studied.

A Note from Teaching Leader Toya McHam
Dear Friend,
I am looking forward to getting caught up in the breath of the Holy Spirit with you, as we encounter Jesus on the pages of John this year. This moment in history that we live in has been called the “argument culture.” Points are proven through “gotcha statements”. Differing ideas are not discussed but used to divide into devasting polarized populations. Public conversations boil into public altercations. Warm welcomes have morphed into cold confrontations. The truth is presented as a lie, and lies are accepted as the truth. Relationships with others are reduced or ruined based on political opinions.
This same culture, all be it an ancient culture, was present when the book of John was written. When people needed to know who Jesus was and what that meant for humankind. When people needed to know what selfless love felt like. When people needed grace and forgiveness. When people needed to experience peace & purpose.
When people needed relationship with Jesus.
John knew personally how relationship with Jesus changes everything.
He had walked, talked, ate with, and served with Jesus. John knew the sound of Jesus’ laugh, the feel of Jesus’ hand, the smell of Jesus’ clothes and the love in Jesus’ heart.
John wants us to know intimate relationship with Jesus that satisfies our deepest longings.
John encourages us to take on the culture of the world with the culture of Christ, which is of truth and love, steeped in relationship with the very Son of God. Whom wants to give us abundant life. (John 20:31).
Come to class ready to see Jesus through fresh eyes in a familiar book. Come to hear what the love of Jesus did in John’s life and what it can do for your life. Come reconnect with your redeemer through His written word to engage with an eternal reality full of joy.
In Christ’s love,
Toya McHam
